Lucid.Statistics.RVE

This task type performs an Representative Volume Element (RVE) analysis by analyzing the convergence of a material property with increasing volume element size, to identify the smallest volume size at which the material property stabilizes, indicating that it adequately represents the macroscopic behavior of the material.

The convergence process is visualized by plotting the mean material property and the relative error between successive mean values against the volume element size. Dashed lines mark the identified RVE volume at the configurable error threshold. Optionally, shaded regions indicate the standard deviation.
